Worst venue ever!
James was excellent but rio rancho’s event center was the pits. What should have been a 12 minute drive from the restaurant took over an hour thanks to a stop light in the middle of nowhere. We were directed to park in an unpacked area and then found the entrance at that end was closed due to lack of staff. Ladies rest room (everyone’s first stop) had 5 stalls. Figured we had probably missed the warm up band but there was none! Missed the first 30 minutes of the concert. When James announced they were taking a 20 minute break. We decided to leave. Figured it would take forever to get out of there if we stayed till the end. Note to manager: next time get James booked into Santa Fe opera or the Lensic in Santa Fe. Much better venues for him and his audience. Those small screens reminded me of watching a concert on tv. Good idea! Avoid bump to bumper traffic and $14 beers.
